As you can imagine creating videos with specific step by step instructions that guide you precisely through exercises takes time. The above programs are being created as you read this.
However, Do It Yourself PT programs are not just exercises. Each program also educates you on posture, alignment, proper movement strategies and specific facts to support each body parts optimal healing. In addition, the exercises chosen are unique exercises proven in clinic to support success.
Each exercise has multiple steps, set up requirements and things to avoid to prevent compensations and movement patterns of least resistance. Therefore, each program provides you with a long version of exercise instruction as well as a quick version. Watch the longer version to learn important details and the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of the movement or posture. Then the quicker version allows you to come back multiple times and do the exercise with more timely instructions. In Addition, many exercises have a separate video explaining why that particular exercise should be done and how it supports your healing. Remember, knowledge is power. DIYPT’s mission is to give you the knowledge and power to get out of pain and keep it away.
